Doc Getting A Little Concerned About Sheeds T's

Rasheed Wallace received his league leading eighth technical foul last night against Charlotte. Under NBA rules, a player will be suspended one game upon receiving his 16th technical and an additional game for every technical received thereafter. Is coach Doc Rivers worried that Wallace has so many in the first 36 days of the season?

"I'm concerned," Rivers told the Boston Herald. "There's nothing I'm going to do about it, I can tell you that. I can talk to him until I'm blue, and I'm sure Larry Brown, his former coach has done that, as well. At this rate clearly he's going to come to that number and then he's going to get suspended, and we don't want to lose him for games. But listen, his teammates are on him, we talk to him about it. But at the end of the day he's going to have to solve that on his own."

I think the Technical rule is bullshit. Especially the way the refs have been officiating games recently. I have been holding it down because BMack has been voicing it more, but it's fucking ridiculous how NBA games are officiated. It really seems like a popularity contest, watching the "Golden Boy" play is ridiculous, it seems he has two chances to get points every drive. I understand a few calls, because in every sport certain players get advantages, but its ridiculous. I always think how difficult it must be to be a basketball coach and be able to keep your composure with all the bullshit the NBA comes with. I really hope the replacement refs come back into the picture and they fire every single ref and start over.
