Lightning @ Bruins Preview
The Bruins had a terrible start to the season, but they have put that all in the past wining 5 of their last 6 (5-0-1) and finally getting some of that "swagger" back that they had last season. So, why the turn around? Basically because they are finally getting healthy (even though Lucic is down again).
Other then Thomas' weak goal he let in to send the game into overtime against Ottawa the Bruins goaltending has been fantastic. They are also playing much better on the power play and penalty kill (2 of the keys to winning in the 'new' NHL).
The Bruins have dominated Tampa Bay at home, winning seven of nine and going 22-3-0 with six ties all-time. They went 3-1-0 against the Lightning last season, winning both meetings at Boston. The Lightning who are 2-3-2 in their last seven, are looking to avoid their first three-game losing streak, since opening the season 0-1-2.
Game starts at 7pm on NESN.
