There are some reports coming out of Pittsburgh that the Steelers and coach Tomlin are no closer to a contract extension (his current deal runs out after this year), and that the Steelers actually want to wait and see how he does this year.
I am not a big Tomlin fan, but where is the respect? Tomlin has a 31-17 record in 3 seasons as head coach of the Steelers (and 3-1 record in the playoffs, including a Super Bowl championship). I believe he has done a decent job with all that shenanigans the Steelers have been pulling.
If this somehow does turn into a make or break year for him, it could be tough, since they are going to be playing with out Roethlisberger for the first month or so. Still, I really don't believe any of this, because the Steelers just can't be THAT dumb.
Unless maybe he wants to focus and be in Love and Basketball 2
