Rays @ Red Sox Preview
The Red Sox look to win their eighth straight at home tonight, but it could be tough with Garza on the hill. Garza has given the Sox a lot of trouble over his career (6-3 3.36 ERA), but the Sox did score 6 runs off him last time, so hopefully they have figured it out.
Boston has Dice-K on the hill. Matsuzaka made his first start off the disabled list Thursday, allowing 2 runs and 5 hits in five innings of a 13-11, 10-inning win at Colorado. Dice-K is 2-4 with a 4.05 ERA in nine starts against the Rays, going 1-2 at home. As always I ever know what they are going to get from Dice-K, but the Rays are a mess right now and I think he will take advantage.
Boston is only 1 game behind the Yankees now, which is really fucking impressive with all the injuries they have had to deal with this season.
Boston wins 6-4
Player of the Game: Beltre
Game starts at 7:10pm on NESN.
