The Sox won the game thanks to Jon Lester and Dustin Pedroia. Lester controlled the game with his change up rather than fastball, when he got smacked around early in the game. Justin Upton hit a monster home run and the diamondbacks scattered several more hits, but Lester was able to adjust and overcome the pesky Diamondbacks. Lester is 8-0 with a 2.01 ERA in his last 11 starts. The Red Sox are 9-2 in those games.
He has really been a key to the staff with Beckett being non existent and Jon Lackey being a major disappointment.
But who cares about baseball, it's game 7.
