Two tense Pac 10 games, two horseshit wins for UCLA. Seriously, what the fuck. Is the fix in for these guys or what? They should have lost against Stanford except the Pine Trees got called for a bullshit foul on the cleanest block I've seen this year. The game goes into OT, UCLA wins. See video here.
Today, Cal has the Bruins licked again except instead of a garbage call to put UCLA on the line, the refs decide that its ok for a couple of Bruins to gang rape and strip Cal on the in-bound pass. Naturally, UCLA converts and puts themselves up 1 with a second left. Game over.
All anybody will talk about is Josh Shipp's amazing shot that went over the backboard and dropped clean through. Don't get me wrong, it was an unbelievable shot but UCLA should have never been in a spot to take it. Nobody is going to mention that they were two blown calls away from losing the Pac 10 title and ending up a 3 seed in the Tournament. Whatever, just like the refs, the national media is in the bag for this team too and many of the pundits have UCLA winning it all. It will be fun when Drake takes them down in the second round.
