Shawn Thornton Injury Update
"Shawn Thornton, out the last two games because of an undisclosed injury, will most likely be in uniform tomorrow against the Senators. Claude Julien said there was a chance of Thornton being available last night but held the fourth-line forward out. Thornton is one of four Bruins practicing today (Boston.com)."
Good news for the shorthanded Bruins. Thornton will never "wow" you, but he is a tough player, and could pick up some of the slack that Lucic's injury left. When we hear more about Lucic and Savard we will let you know, but they are both at least a couple weeks away...
