Red Sox Lose Another Front Office Guy

"The Boston Red Sox appear to be on the verge of losing their well-respected scouting director to the San Diego Padres. The Boston Herald reports that the Padres are expected to announce the hiring of Jason McLeod as assistant general manager. He will work under new GM Jed Hoyer, who also worked in Boston (ESPN)."

Tough loss for the Sox here. This is the guy who found talent like Pedroia, Ellsbury, Buccholz, ect. These things happen when your team has been good for a couple years (like the Patriots), so you can't be surprised, but you have to wonder how the Sox will be evaluating talent now that they have lost these front office guys...
