So those are the line ups. Both teams aren't going to deviate defensively from what they are doing. They are still going to play Rondo soft, the Celtics will still throw Pierce, Allen(s), and Rondo at Kobe. And Artest is still going to body up Pierce. They are both set in their ways and the best team will win.
A little crack was shown in the armor of the Lakers last game and that is when you attack Kobe and you attack Artest. The way the refs have been calling these games I would still put a lot of pressure on them by driving all game. But the guy who needs to make some noise is KG. KG has been non existant to the point I would rather see Baby or Sheed in there sometimes ahead of him. KG seems to get fired up at home, so hopefully a little home cooking will get him going.
Poopface continues to be a problem no matter who we put on him. His inside/ outside game seems unstoppable. But I think to counter that would be for Perk/Sheed/KG/Baby to play on the block. Like I said in the postgame, I didn't mind the 14 blocks because that meant they were aggressive to the hole. If they can get Poopface and Bynum to work on defense, logic would tell you their offensive production would go down.
I think Paul Pierce will get it going because the spotlight is on him after the "not coming back to LA" comment and the Celtics will win this one by a decent amount of points.
101-86 Celtics
Tommy Award: Paul Pierce
