The Portland Trailblazers picked up the New Orleans Hornets 27th pick in this years draft for cash. The Blazers have the 13th pick also. I smell another draft day trade in the makings.

O.J. Mayo might have a reason to hold up the number two, because a lot of reports are saying that Miami is looking at him and not Beasley at the number two spot. I honestly believe Mayo is going to be the best player out of this draft in 5 years, but that would be a real gutsy thing for Miami to do.

The Contra Costa Times is reporting that the Warriors and Pistons are discussing a possible deal involving Baron Davis for Rasheed Walace and Chauncey Billups. I like it to tell you the truth, the "veteran" presence of players for Detroit has stalled over the last couple of years and they might need a new face to head up their franchise.

There is much trade speculation about Shawn Marion and the number 2 pick. The two rumors that are sticking out is the swap for Elton Brand or Carlos Boozer. I really do not see the benefit of this trade, due to the fact Marion is a younger more healthy player and Beasley could be an elite player for a long time.

The Nuggets have traded the 20th pick in the draft to the Bobcats from a future "protect" first round pick. I don't think the Nuggets had room to sign a first round pick.
I will update this throughout the day
