According to Boston.com, "James Posey will opt out of the second and final year of his contract with the Celtics."
Well this really isn't big news, we all expected it. The question is, will he take our mid level exception? James said he wanted to come back with the Celtics and trust me I believe he was the centerpiece of this championship run and want him back, but is he worth the 4 year 50 million dollar contract? The Lakers and Hornets along with the Celtics seem to be the front runners at getting him.
