Bruins @ Flyers Preview
The Bruins were able to piece together enough of a roster to beat Nashville last night. Tonight they are going to need more of the same, except this time it is against a good team.
The good news for the Bruins is that they have won the last 4 times when playing in Philly. The bad news is that they are playing on back-to-back night, while already shorthanded by injuries (and trades).
Philly is a tough physical team that is actually very similar to the Bruins. I always harp on the fact the Bruins need to use the dump and chase while their stars are out, but that could prove difficult for the Bruins tonight. The main goal for the Bruins tonight will be shots on net. I have zero faith in the Flyers' goaltending, and I believe the Bruins still have enough firepower to make Ray Emery's life difficult. Saying that, you can't leave out the fact that Emery is 4-1-0 with a 1.81 GAA and a shutout in his last five starts against the Bruins, so this is going to be a really tough game...
Game starts at 7pm on NESN.
