
"The Indianapolis Colts have signed ex-Ravens kicker Matt Stover to replace Adam Vinatieri, who is out for four to eight weeks following knee surgery. The team said Vinatieri underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right [kicking] knee to remove a piece of cartilage (ESPN)."
Stover will be solid enough, but he really doesn't kick outside of 35-40 yards anymore. Still, with the way the Colts offense has been rolling it really shouldn't make too much of a difference. The Colts are going to need a better leg come playoff time though...
