Fisher STILL Sticking With Collins?
"Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher is still sticking with Kerry Collins as his starting quarterback if you believe everything that the coach has said in the past few days. This is in spite of increased pressure from fans and, much more vitally, Titans owner Bud Adams to give Vince Young his chance at redemption.
We've been waiting to hear from Collins, and he spoke with the Nashville Tennessean on Wednesday. "I haven't gotten any indication from [coach Fisher] of a change," Collins noted (ESPN)."
I really hope this is totally bogus. I like Fisher a lot, but he is being retarded. He might be right that Young will never be anything, but you know what you are going to get from Collins, and this year is already over, it is time to evaluate the talent on your roster. With so many good QBs coming out in next year's draft you have to find out if Young is the real deal. Even if Fisher has given up on him they should put him in for a possible trade, because right now his value can't get much lower...
