We all know that the NFL is a copycat league, and for one NFC team, that is terrible news. Yesterday we saw the Saints absolutely embarrass the Giants to a 48-27 victory, and we now know the blueprint on how to beat the G-MEN. The Saints did some very simple things when they were on offense. They took the TE out and replaced him with an offensive lineman, thus making the torrid Giants pass rush a mute point. Once you stop the Giants D-line, the Saints proved yesterday that the Giants secondary isn't all that great. The fact that New Orleans could easily convert 3 and 17s, should be making New York fans extremely nervous for the future. With Kenny Phillips, and Aaron Ross out it seems as if anyone could throw deep and over the middle on the Giants. With Arizona, Philly, and San Diego being the Giants next three games, I could definitely see 2 losses with those high powered offenses.
Sure you could chalk this one up as just a "bad game" but as we saw last year, once something goes wrong with the Giants, it could become a major slippery slope.
