"New England Patriots left tackle Matt Light injured his right knee during the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos, and did not return to the game. Monday afternoon, Light was spotted on crutches, moving "gingerly", as per Chris Forsberg of ESPNBoston.com. The LT is currently on a 59-game consecutive start streak going back to 2005. As of Thursday, it's looking like Light will miss Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, and rookie Sebastian Vollmer will be the man to replace him, according to the Boston Herald (ESPN)."
This could be bad news for the Patriots, but to be honest Light hasn't been playing well since the Super Bowl loss to the Giants. I am really interested to see if Vollmer can pick up the slack, and right now it looks like we will get that chance on Sunday...
