Marcus Thompson II of the Contra Costa Times has heard a rumor that the Golden State Warriors have talked with the Cleveland Cavaliers about acquiring center Zydrunas Ilgauskas for swingman Stephen Jackson and another player to make it work under salary cap rules. Jackson has previously stated he'd like to get out of Golden State.ESPN
I would love if the Cavs do this. Stephen Jackson is a hell of a player, no doubt about that, but with crazy ego's such as Shaq, LeBron and gun toting Delonte West, this move would totally blow up in their face. Big Z is a great back-up center and is a guy that the C's always have a hard time. So with that being said, Cleveland, please do this trade.
