There Has Been An Ahman Green Sighting

"Apparently the Green Bay Packers are none too pleased with the play of Brandon Jackson, because on Monday they brought in two veterans that could serve as very capable backups to Ryan Grant, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. In addition to Ahman Green -- who still has a home in Wisconsin -- the Pack took a look at Dominic Rhodes, who was cut by the Buffalo Bills earlier this season. Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette relays the fact that Green has been lobbying the Packers for a tryout since April (ESPN)."

This is somewhat shocking, since Jackson was rumored to take Grant's job a couple times last year. Jackson has done shit all year, and now the Packers are so concerned about it that they have brought back Ahman Green. I love Green, but I really don't know how much he has left in the tank. My only thinking is that maybe he can be a power back and help in pass protection, but even that would take time to get him in the flow of the offense...
