Twins 6, Tigers 5

What a game and what a miracle run the Twins have made to make it into the playoffs. For a one game playoff to get into the playoffs the Twins and Tigers certainly made it interesting. Rookie Rick Porcello took on Twins "Ace" Scott Baker and both of them did what they needed to do. Porcello pitched fantastic for this type of game going 5.2 innings, 4 hits, 2 runs (1 earned) and 8 ks, while his counterpart Scott Baker went 6 innings, 6 hits, 3 runs and 2 Ks.
Both teams had chance after chance to end it before the 12th, and each club scored in the 10th. Casilla was thrown out at the plate to end that inning by left fielder Ryan Raburn after tagging up.
The Tigers thought they'd taken the lead in the 12th. But with the bases loaded, ump Randy Marsh(haha) said that Brandon Inge wasn't hit by a pitch by Twins reliever Bobby Keppel. The replay showed otherwise. Then Alexi Casilla singled home the winning run with one out in the 12th inning and the Twins rallied for a 6-5 victory Tuesday night, completing a colossal collapse for the Tigers.

It was one hell of a game, but they most likely will lose to the Yankees who are starting with ace CC Sabathia against another Twins rookie Brian Duensing. I like the Twins, I really do. They just don't have the pitching which is Scott Baker, Nick Blackburn and Brian Duesing. Ouch.
