Capitals @ Bruins Preview
After beating the Capitals at their arena on Tuesday the Bruins have to play them again tonight, except this time in Boston (home opener). Tukka Rask is getting the start tonight, after not starting since the first game of the year. He didn't play well in that game letting up 4 goals, but in his defense the whole team played flat, so if they can play like they have the last 3 games it should be a very different outcome.
Boston has been able to get their scoring going this year, scoring at least 3 goals in each of their last 3 games. A big reason for that is the arrival of Nathan
Horton who has 6 points (3 goals, 3 assists) in 4 games, while Krejci has also been playing well totaling 6 points as well.
With the Bruins it's about crashing the net, and being more physical (especially when playing a team like the Capitals). Ovechkin is always dangerous, but Chara did a decent job last time of keeping him quiet. The Bruins also need to keep an eye on Nicklas Backstrom, who has a tendency to light up the Bruins.
If they Bruins play physical, like they did last game, and don't turn the puck over in the neutral zone they can beat this team again.
Bruins win 5-3
Player of the Game: Recchi
Game starts at 7pm on NESN.
