Depth Chart
This is probably the most highly anticipated game in NBA regular season history. Once tip off happens we get to see the new look Celtics and their veteran laden team against the new "big three" Lebron, Wade and Bosh.
The Celtics have not made any friends recently and it seems as if LeBron, Wade and Bosh all have a gripe to pick with them, and that could bode well for the Cs.
The matchups will obviously be tough for the Cs. The only real advantage we have is Rondo vs Mario Chalmers and the O'Neals against Joel Anthony and the Heat big men. We are not going to be able to stop LeBron and Wade, so whatever, go in zone and let Miami try and score. I wouldn't be surprised if their was a hard foul in LeBron or Wade's future when it comes to them driving to the hoop. We have a lot of fouls in the front court, they should use them.
But offensively we need to exploit their weakness and that's the big men. KG needs to frustrate Bosh, and the O'Neals need to bully their big men in the paint. The guards and Pierce need to constantly be running around the whole time too. We have solid big men to set picks, so their shouldn't be a moment when they aren't weaving through picks.
On paper the Heat look like a dream team, but they have glaring weaknesses and if the Celtics can exploit them, this game will theirs.
