So You're Saying There's A Chance
I remember when I was at URI and watched them play URI when Umass had (I forget his first name) Freeman and Stephane Lasme and they were a hell of a tandem. Lasme always flirted with a triple double every game with points, rebounds and blocks. Now it's really cool auditioning for the final spot for the Celtics. I believe the last spots main competition is Lasme, Von Wafer and Mario West.
I'm not sure if we need another big guy, but I really like this kids athleticism and explosive defensive play. Sure Von Wafer can stretch the court with his 3 point ability, and Mario West is a defensive mold like Tony Allen. However, I'd prefer an athletic, long defender who's a big and assume Delonte West will be fine, Marquis Daniels will play his role well, and the same can be said about Nate Robinson, then run into a game 7 situation.
The Celtics are poised for a really good season and potential championship run, so Lasme would be a great defensive addition and could potentially give more rest to the O'Neals, KG and Perk.
