Around The MLB: Panic In New York

8 Rangers, 0 Yankees

Should be 3-0, but I'll take a 2-1 lead by the Rangers over the Yankees. He pitched 8 innings, allowed 3 baserunners and struck out 13. Cliff Lee is as good as advertised and is now 7-0 with a 1.26 ERA in eight postseason starts. Three of those wins have come against the power-packed Yankees, including two in last year's World Series for Philadelphia. Pretty impressive stuff.

The night started off with a 2 run shot by Josh Hamilton and then once Andy Pettite came out of the game, shit got nuts as the Rangers hung 5 on reliever David Robertson. This series is far from over, but other than one inning the Yankees have been playing like shit.

Good stuff.
