DC Review: Call of Duty: Black Ops
So Call of Duty: Black Ops was finally released, and if you're a fan of these types of games you have to pick this one up. The graphics are unlike anything I have ever seen. They have one level when you are in Vietnam, and you really feel like you are watching a movie.
The levels are great, and I like the well placed rock music that makes you laugh, but also gets you hyped up for the ensuing chaos. And let me tell you it is nonstop action, so get out that blood pressure medication. The story is well done, though I will say it is a little annoying with the transitions sometimes, because you are being interrogated and there is a lot of yelling, but what can ya do.
On top of the normal game play the online is amazing, and this year you and your buddy can play online on the same console, and play against other friends, which I thought was pretty cool. They also brought back all the zombie stuff, and once you beat the game you can be JFK and kill zombies...honestly what more can you ask for?
The only negatives I would say are the transitions between levels, because they can get a bit repetitive, and the guns are as cool as Modern Warfare, because it takes place during different parts of the Cold War.
Anyways, like I said if you like these types of games it's a must buy.
