"Yesterday, Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean wrote that the calls for VY to replace Kerry Collins as the team's starter are only going to intensify this week. But according to what Fisher said in a press conference on Monday, however, we shouldn't expect No. 10 to be the starter this Sunday. "We have to improve as a team and that is what we are working on," Fisher said. "Kerry is not the reason. Our football team is the reason we're at where we're at, not the quarterback position." While saying that he wouldn't make the switch this week, he left open the possibility of making the switch at some point this season, but also said he might not make the switch at all (ESPN)."
I wrote about this yesterday, and it is obvious to me that Young HAS to start. The Titans season is over. Collins is not the long term answer at QB, and the Titans really need to evaluate what they can get from Vince Young. I am not a Young believer, but you need to give this kid one more shot before you use your top 5 draft pick (that they will most likely be getting) on another QB. I always had a lot of respect for Fisher, but this seems stupid to me...
