Celtics vs Sixers Preview
The Celtics have been struggling lately by playing .500 ball, however tonight the Celtics and all their star power are going to take the Sixers out back behind the woodshed. I expect an absolute blow out tonight, because let's face it, the Celtics don't have time to play a close game with the Sixers. they already did that against the Knicks, they don't want those whispers of injuries, age, etc. to get louder. But enough of me rambling, lets get to the lineups:
PG L. Williams 17.4 R. Rondo 10.8
SG A. Iguodala 17.7 R. Allen 15.0
SF T. Young 14.1 P. Pierce 19.6
PF E. Brand 11.5 K. Garnett 13.2
C S. Dalembert 6.1 K. Perkins 10.5
Like the Hawks the 1-3 positions are going to want to make this a fast paced game, if the C's play their own style and don't fall into that trap they are going to dominate. The Biggest matchup that I can see the Celtics taking advantage of is Lou Williams not being able to stay in front of Rajon. he is just not quick enough and not a great defender on top of that. But with that, Rondo needs to sack up and stop being hesitant with the ball. Plenty of people have ugly looking shots (Shawn Marion, Rashard Lewis, etc) but they were able to get through it, Rondo can too, and he is going to need to since he is making 11 mil a year. So with that being said, Celtics win big.
Celtics 110-77
Tommy Award: Rondo ( I bet he has a double double by mid third quarter)
