Ladell Betts' Season Over
"Redskins backup running back Ladell Betts has been diagnosed with two torn ligaments in the knee he injured Sunday and will miss the rest of the season, a team source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. An MRI exam revealed Betts tore the anterior cruciate ligament and medial cruciate ligament of his left knee when he was injured midway through the first quarter of Washington's 7-6 loss to the host Cowboys, the source said (ESPN)."
Too bad for this guy. He finally had the chance to be the starting running back and now he is out for the year. The Redskins now have lost Betts and Portis. Portis could be back after next week, but that remains to be seen. None of this really matters as the Redskins season is over, and they will probably blow up the team again after the season ends.
