Scutaro The Answer At SS For Sox?

"Shortstop has at times resembled a black hole for the Boston Red Sox, and the team may try to fill that void by landing free agent Marco Scutaro. Michal Silverman of the Boston Herald reports that the Red Sox have expressed preliminary interest in Scutaro, who had a big season for Toronto in 2009. Alex Gonzalez, a late-season addition, is now a free agent and the Red Sox feel they cannot rely upon the injury-plagued Jed Lowrie. Silverman adds that the Red Sox continue to keep in touch with Gonzalez (ESPN)."

I like Scutaro a lot, but he is a type A free agent, which mean the Sox would have to give up draft picks. I don't see them doing that, so I think Gonzalez will be back, which I am fine with. Scutaro does just seem like a Sox kind of guy. He gets on base, is solid defensively, and just seems like he would fit in with players like Youk, Pedroia, ect.
