The Bruins just can't catch a break, as they found out today that Dennis Seidenberg, who suffered a gash to his left wrist Saturday night in Toronto, required surgery to repair a lacerated tendon and he will need 8 weeks to recover. This is terrible news for the Bruins, who has also lost Mark Stuart for at least 2 weeks. Stuart required surgery over the weekend to clean up an infection to a pinky finger.
The Bruins have a good chance to squeak into the playoffs, but they may have to play the first round without Stuart, Seidenberg, and Savard. That's never good news when you are most likely going to be going against a team like the Capitals.
