Sabres @ Bruins Preview: Game 6
Both team could be getting a boost tonight. As I wrote earlier the Bruins are awaiting word from doctors on Savard's latest head test. If he passes he could be playing tonight. The Sabres already got their good news, as they got word Thomas Vanek will be in their lineup. We will get you an update on Savard as soon as we hear something.
As for the actual game tonight. Boston fell on their face in game 5, but it was bound to happen. The Bruins are putting this series away tonight, even if Savard cant be apart. I expect that there is more excitement in that locker room right now then there has been all season. They know with Savard on this team they have a chance to not just win this down, but maybe make it keep into this dance. The Bruins use this, and the home crowd and beat the Sabres tonight.
The key is to keep the pressure on Miller. He is outstanding, but you have to keep him on heels and crash the net. The Bruins are at their best when they are being physical in front of their net, and let guys like Krejci and Bergeron run the offense.
Rask has a weak game last time out, but you know he will bounce back, and he is a fiery guy I expect big things from him tongiht.
Boston wins 3-1
Player the game: Patrice Bergeron
Game starts at 7pm
