Things I Like, Things That Make Me Angry

I Like the Lions draft a lot. Ndamukong Suh is a defense changing player. Yes, there are concerns about his knees, but he will be O.K. and terrorizing quarterbacks for his whole career. And then later on in the first round they get Jahvid Best, who is essentially the same thing as CJ Spiller but with an injury history. Best will be a play maker along with the recovering Kevin Jones, to take a lot of pressure off the young Matthew Stafford.

Kansas City Chiefs getting Eric Berry. In my eyes Eric Berry was the best play in this draft so getting him at 5, was a steal. Think Ed Reed. The Chiefs could have gone with an offensive lineman, but decided to get the best player involved.

Tennessee Titans getting Derrick Morgan. The biggest winners this year were the teams who were patient. A lot of teams seemed to do bold moves the whole draft to get people they need. However, Tennessee just chilled and got the most polished DE in the draft.

I also love the Cowboys getting Dez Bryant. We finally get an admission of failure from Jerry Jones with the Roy Williams trade. Dez Bryant is going to be a very good wide out for them.

It makes me really angry for what the Bronco's did in the draft. I didn't mind the Demaryius Thomas pick, he looks like a good play maker and almost has the same build as Brandon Marshall, but I do mind the Tim Tebow pick. Josh McDaniel's is going to be judged on the success of Tebow. Tebow is going to be a 2 year project, and I don't see him being able to be a successful QB in the NFL.

Jacksonville Jaguars getting Tyson Alualu at 10 was quite questionable, especially with Dan Williams on the board. They could have waited until later in the first to trade up, or if they traded down they could have got some more picks.
