Sabres @ Bruins Preview

The Bruins hold a 1 point lead over the Rangers for the last spot in the playoffs for the Eastern Conference. Things weren't made any easier with news that Seidenberg will join Savard on the "out for the year" list. At this point you just have to feel bad for this team, they just can't stay healthy.

Yet, anything can happen in the playoffs, and all it takes is a hot goalie. I can't think of many goalies that have been playing better then Tuukka Rask. Do I think they will make it out of the first round even if they make the playoffs? Probably not, but once again this is a league that is driven by goalies going on hot streaks.

Anyways, tonight the Bruins take on the Sabres. They are 3-2 against them. The problem is if there is a goalie who has played better then Rask this year it is Miller. I really expect the final score in this game to be 2-1 or something like that. Both these teams don't have a lot of firepower, but I really do worry that the Bruins defense could be too banged up to keep them in games anymore....

Game starts at 7pm on NESN and Versus.
