Strahan Declines Deal, Stays Retired
Michael Strahan turned down a one year deal to come out of retirement for the defending champion New York Giants. This is the right move for Strahan, he has already missed the entire pre-season and by the looks of things, has not been staying in shape. Strahan says it was never about the money, it was a matter of being mentally prepared for another NFL season. In other words, he doesn't want to bust his ass for 16 games and have nothing to show for it.
I think this is the right choice for Strahan. He won his first Superbowl last season and decided it was best to go out on top. Besides would you want to go back and play for the Giants? Me neither. This team is up shit creek without a paddle at this point. Who are they going to call up next? Tiki Barber?
Strahan fans, no worries, you can still see the giant gap in Strahans teeth every Sunday on FOX. Maybe he can use some of the 2 million dollars that fox is paying him to get some braces.
