Josh Beckett, who has been out (tingling fingers) since Aug. 17th when he get shelled by the Blue Jays, is ready to come back to the Red Sox Friday. He will be taking the field against the Chicago White Sox, and it couldn't come at a better time for the Sox. I really the Red Sox wanted to get Beckett some time off, and now they having him coming back with a 2 1/2 game lead over the Twins for the Wild Card sport, and only 3 1/2 games behind the Rays for the lead in the AL East. I expect Beckett to come back strong, and it will be a good test to see him go against the hard hitting White Sox.
