Beckett Gets Smoked, Jays Win 15-4

Josh Beckett pitched his worst game in a Red Sox uniform, as the Jays dismantled the Sox on their way to a 15-4 victory. Beckett went 2 1/3 innings allowing 8 runs on 8 hits. If that wasn't bad enough the Sox bullpen also looked like shit allowing 7 more runs, 3 off of Okijima. The Sox seem to have a lot of holes on their team. J.D. Drew hurt his back today, Okijima can't get anyone out (neither can Timlin or Delcarmen), their rotation just doesn't look as good when Wakefield isn't in it, and well Varitek should just be brought out back of Fenway and shot. The good news? Big Papi is starting to hit, and Youk/Pedrioa are on fire.

The Sox need to find a way to beat the Blue Jays as they play them 10 more times this year. The loss today dropped the Sox to 4 games back of Tampa Bay, and only a game up on the Twins.
