Dice-K Rocked In Rehab Start

Well this is the last thing the Red Sox wanted to hear...

"Daisuke Matsuzaka struggled in a rehab start for the Portland Sea Dogs this afternoon, going two innings and giving up five runs on four hits to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in Manchester, N.H. Matsuzaka had three walks and one strikeout on the day and threw 58 pitches (Boston.com)."

This was a horrible start, and I hope it is just a bump in the road, but I doubt it. Hopefully I am wrong, but Dice-K might be done for the season, and you add that to the fact the the Wake doesn't seem like he is going to be able to hold on much longer and the Red Sox have a serious problem. Right now all the wheels are popping for the Sox rotation. Beckett is pitching like shit, Wake is hurt, Tazawa is not ready, Bowden sucks, Penny is gone, Smoltz is gone, and you never know what you are going to get from Buchholz. Right now Lester is the only consistent starter. The Sox might make the playoffs, but if Dice-K continues to struggle, and Beckett can't be the ace then the Sox are going to be making an early exit.
