Michigan Comes Up With A Plan That Will Surely Work

Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez says he plans to use Denard Robinson and two other quarterbacks in the season opener Sept. 5 against Western Michigan.

Rodriguez spent about the first 10 minutes of his news conference Sunday answering questions about freshmen Tate Forcier and Robinson, who are competing for snaps along with junior Nick Sheridan, who started four games last year. ESPN

I have only seen the 2 quarterback system work once and that was when Florida had Chris Leak and Tim Tebow. But in Michigan's case none of these quarterbacks are Chris Leak or Tim Tebow. I don't know much about Denard Robinson, and Tate Forcier, but I know that none of them are as highly touted as those guys are that highly touted. Nick Sheriden was terrible when he played last year, but he could have made progress since last season. With Rich Rodriguez already skating on thin ice in Ann Arbor, I doubt that this is the right way to do things, because people will constantly question your decision making. If I were him, I would start one of the guys and run with him, because I can guarantee one thing. If three QBs get used in one game, it will be a long season for the Wolverines.
