I was 2-2 last week, bringing my record to 17-13. I almost picked Virginia Tech over Georgia Tech, but shied away because of GT's bizarre offense and what it's capable of. Here are my picks this week:
3:30 PM - ABC
Oklahoma Sooners @ #25 Kansas Jayhawks
Even without Sam Bradford, the Sooners can go up to Lawrence and come home with a win. KU is overrated, and all of the Big XII North should bow to the Southern division for making it a legitimate conference. Last week saw Big XII North teams fuck up big time and the Jayhawks will follow suit.
Prediction:
OU 31, KU 24
3:30 PM - NBC
BC Eagles @ Notre Dame Fighting Irish
BC is better than people thought they'd be. Notre Dame is worse. The Irish have been overrated all season, but they are better than BC. The Eagles may be 5-0 at home, but they're also 0-2 on the road.
Prediction:
Irish 20, BC 10
7:00 PM - BigTen Network
#6 Iowa Hawkeyes @ Michigan State Spartans
I'm going to pick Iowa to lose every week until they do. I don't believe them, don't trust them, and they're fortunate to have not lost to Northern Iowa. Believe it or not, MSU is still in the race for the conference title, and they'll make for a big clusterfuck if they triumph in this contest.
Prediction:
MSU 17, Iowa 13
7:30 PM
#8 TCU Horned Frogs @ #16 BYU Cougars
This is the only game of the weekend between two ranked teams. And of course, it's not on TV. But the BCS will be watching. TCU is the only undefeated team left in the Mountain West. The BCS stalwarts want to see BYU win, and so do I, because I'm picking them.
Prediction:
BYU 35, TCU 28
