Bobby Abreu Sticks With Angels

The veteran outfielder agreed Thursday to a $19 million, two-year contract to stay with the Angels rather than test the free-agent market again. Mostly playing right field, Abreu hit .293 with 15 homers, 103 RBIs, 30 steals and 94 walks as a durable contributor to one of the majors' top offenses. ESPN

I still believe this is a bargain for Bobby. This Abreu signing will put a lot of demand on Jason Bay and Matt Holliday, due to Abreu being everybody's plan B. Abreu at 35 is still one of the most durable players in the MLB, and only missed a few games last season.
