Maybe Jeremy Tyler Should Have Stayed In States

If you remember this name, it is about the kid who decided to forego his senior year in high school to play in Israel. Well the experiment isn't going to well. The guy who brought this plan to the forefront is Brandon Jennings, although he graduated high school, he still decided to go overseas and play for his freshman year in college. It worked for him so I could see Jeremy's thought process, however, he is proving that not all high schoolers are mature enough to make basketball their lives. Instead of worrying about which movie to take a girl too he’s in Haifa, Israel, with no friends on the team, and fighting rumors that he’s fat, lazy, and full of himself. That's no way for a 17 year old to live. I have faith that Jeremy could eventually go to the NBA and be fine, but this is proving that maturity level can be as important as skill.

Also, if this becomes a trend, David Stern and the NCAA will probably do there best to stop it. I actually believe it is great for the college game. It is great for the kids who go overseas and make some money instead of being a one and done, poor college kid, and it gives other players the chances of stepping up and showcasing themselves to the NBA.
