Now A Rant From The Answer

NBA RANT

YEA! I'm back. But I'm not happy about it. TheAnswer has come out of retirement because The Answer is being forced into retirement. I must say that I'm very unhappy with this Iverson situation. It was a dismal day for Philly fans to see Iverson go. It didn't work in Denver. It's didn't work in Detroit. It didn't work in Memphis. So you can almost guarantee you'll see Iverson back in Philly before the trade deadline. Thats where his home is. As much as I think AI needs to embrace his bench role, there's a starting position in Philly for him. Lou Williams is just not ready to be the quarterback of that team. Iverson may be the greatest player of all time "pound for pound," averaging 27 ppg for his career. Thats insane. He should suit up with a contender, shut his fucking mouth, get a ring, and go sit at the black jack table forever. But Iverson wants to win, and the problem is that he wants to be the reason. He's still trying to make up for that year he almost won it by himself. I think for Iverson the Denver situation didn't work because Melo (a top 5 player and only getting better) needs a point guard to feed him the ball. Iverson and Melo can't be on the same team. Whoever came up with that idea was an idiot. Of course Melo on his way up, Iverson on his way down, AI gets the blame. To seal the deal as soon as Billups gets there Denver is a contender. I truly believe that after Iverson left Denver, the rest of the story is only half his fault. Iverson should have never been on the Pistons. But if so, he should have started over Rip. Fuck Richard Hamliton. He sucks so bad. Thats a guy that belongs on the bench. Wouldn't you be pissed if a guy that wears a face mask was taking your minutes. So yea, of course AI got pissed. That was a bad situation from day 1. Now as far as this Grizzlies situation, he never should have inked that contract. He's not starting over Conley, or Mayo. Plain and simple. What happens to Iverson down the road we can only hope is good. AI, from you biggest fan, this is your last chance, don't fuck up.

Moving on.

I wanna talk about the Suns. Specifically Shaq. Yeah Shaq. Why you ask? He's not on the Suns anymore. Yeah I know, thats my fucking point. Last year Cleveland was was almost unstoppable. The Suns sucked. Boom, Suns lose Shaq and now they have the best record in the west. Cavs get Shaq and they are so much slower. Listen, I love Shaq. I really do. But the guy is over 300 pounds and 37 years old. Who though it was a good idea for him to be with an up tempo like the Cavs. I called it. They'll be a contender, but by no means a threat. The best thing that could happen to the Cavs right now is for Shaq to get hurt. This is Shaqs last season. Enjoy it. As far as the suns go, good for them.

How about the Atlanta Hawks. This team has got some fucking talent. Wow. minus a point guard I'd say everyone on the starting 5 is playing like an all star. Too bad when it comes down to play off's leadership, experience, and veterans, mean more than doing insane dunks.

Now before the Sixers get Iverson heres what they should do. They should rome the streets of Philly, and try and find a guy about 6'10 to 7'1 and give him a million dollars to stand in the middle for the rest of the year. Because that would be better than having Sammy Dalembert in the middle. This guy is the worst player I have ever seen. I remember when they drafted him. I said..Why? He sucks. 8 years later he sucks even more. I can't believe this guys makes around 10 million a year. Everytime I watch this guy play it makes me sick. How can one man, suck so bad, and have an entire organization fooled. What a fucking joke this guy is. Philly has some soul searching to do. Very young talented team, but Sammy sucks, and Elton Brand is just not what he was. He needs to get traded. I think they could make some noise, but not with that lackluster front line.

I'm calling it right now...Carmelo Anthony MVP this season....Rajon Rondo most improved, and all star team....Brandon Jenning rookie of the year.
