Texans Bench Slaton
"The Houston Chronicle has word of a pending depth chart controversy that is sending tidal waves throughout the fantasy football community; namely, Steve Slaton could be the one riding the pine behind Ryan Moats indefinitely. Following another fumble -- Slaton has five this season after just two all of his rookie campaign -- Moats took to the field, and dashed for 126 yards and three fourth quarter touchdowns. Asked after the game if the switch would be permanent, Texans coach Gary Kubiak played it close to the vest, "We'll go to next week. We'll see (ESPN)."
Not a big believer in Slaton, but I think he'll get another shot. He has to stop putting the ball on the ground though. If you have him in fantasy obviously bench him for a week or 2, and pick up Moats. Slaton is very explosive, but I see him being nothing but a glorified 3rd down back (kind of like Bush).
