After 2 bad games Ortiz started to get questions from reporters about how bad he was going to struggle this year. Ortiz didn't like that very much...
"Good," he said, turning to face the reporters encircling him. "You guys wait till [expletive] happens, then you can talk [expletive]. Two [expletive] games, and already you [expletives] are going crazy.
"What's up with that, man? [Expletive]. [Expletive] 160 games left. That's a [expletive]. One of you [expletives] got to go ahead and hit for me."
I kind of don't blame him. It was 2 games. People have bad games. I am not saying I am sold in the least that Ortiz is good anymore, but I am also not willing to start benching him, because he was good in 2 games against the Yankees.
What does worry me is the fact that he is letting it get to him. I don't want to see this shit get in his head, and the best thing that could happen for everyone is if Ortiz just goes deep in the next game and everyone shuts the fuck up.
