I think we all knew this was coming, but Ben Roethlisberger is a step closer to being suspended by the league. Roger Goodell says Ben Roethlisberger has violated the NFL's personal conduct policy, but would not confirm reports on when he will announce discipline for the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. So now it isn't a matter of "if", just "when" and for how long?
My guess is that he will be suspended for 2-3 games. I have heard some people think it could be as high as 6, but I think that is very much overkill for something that he didn't even get in legal trouble for. I agree that he should be suspended and fined, but anything over 2-3 games is too much for something that can't really prove.
At the end of the day he put himself in bad situations, and you just can't go around whipping your dick out.
