104 Celtics, 86 Cavaliers

Well motherfuckers, this is exactly what we needed from the C's and even though they should be up 2-0, I will take 1-1 and stealing home court advantage, on the night where LeElbow gets his MVP award.

Rajon Rondo is the team MVP, the boy had 13 points and 19 assists (tying Bob Cousy for a Celtics record) and accounted for 53 points for the Celtics, same as Mo Williams and LeBron combined and 2 more assists than the whole Cavs team. Ridiculous. Kevin Garnett also had his second game in which he scored 18 points, and had 10 boards, Pierce had 14 and Ray Allen had a team high 22 points including 10 points in a decisive 3rd quarter. But the real surprise was the guy I threw under the bus yesterday, and that is non other than Rasheed Wallace.

Sheed put up 17 points including 3-3 from beyond the arc and actually got the ball in the low post. We even saw him play defense. Apparently Doc Rivers message was heard from the veteran because he played like a new player. If he can keep this up the Celtics will have a lot of relief on the starters. I don't know if 1 game forgives a season of shitty play, but if he puts together a series of games, I'm more than willing to forgive and forget.

The Celtics now have 4 days to rest, and Cleveland has that time to think.
