Twins @ Red Sox Preview
Great pitching matchup tonight, as the Sox put Lester vs. Lirano. Lester (3-2, 3.91 ERA) was shaky in his first 3 outings, but he has gone 3-0 with a 1.82 ERA in his last five starts. Lirano has been flat out dirty with a 4-2 record and a 2.63 ERA. He finally seems like he is 100% healthy again.
That could be bad news for the Sox, as the Sox often struggle against lefties, and now they are going to have to play without Marco Scutaro (who took the leadoff spot from Ellsubry when he went out hurt). There is every reason in the world that the Twins will win this game, but I trust Lester, and I think he is going to have a great game tonight.
Boston wins 5-1
