The Sox been surging until last night, so hopefully the Wake can get them back on track. If he pitches as well as he did last time (8 inning 0 runs against the Phillies) then it shouldn't be a problem. Yet, you just really don't know. Wakefield and Dice-K are very similar in that regard. They could go out and give you 8 innings of scoreless baseball, or they could be out of the game by the 4th.
Boston will be facing the underrated Kyle Davies. He held 5 of his last 6 opponents to 2 or fewer runs. His numbers won't jump out at you (3-3 4.53 ERA), but this kid has the talent to rip through the Sox (especially if they don't get any clutch hitting like last night).
Anyways, I wish I could say that I have a good feeling about this game, but I don't.
