The Bruins get back at it tonight, and early reports suggest that Tim Thomas will between the pipes once again. If you have been keeping up with the Bruins at all you would know that Tim Thomas is the hottest goalie in the NHL. He has stopped 182 of 185 shots while compiling a 0.50 goals-against average which is easily the best in the NHL.
Going into the game I thought this could be a fantastic goalie matchup, as Ryan Miller is one of the best in the game, but from the reports I have been reading he will not play tonight, which is great news for the Bruins.
Boston has been dominate is basically every way. They lead the lead in GAA, penalty kill, and are in the top half of the NHL in scoring. Considering Boston was awful in putting the puck in the net last year you have to be encourage that they are doing this well, even with guys like Savard and Sturm still out.
Boston is going to crush this team tonight, and I expect Horton to get his scoring streak back going.
