A's Deal For DeJesus

The Oakland Athletics pulled off the first notable trade of the offseason Wednesday night, acquiring outfielder David DeJesus from the Kansas City Royals for two pitchers -- right-hander Vin Mazzaro and lefty Justin Marks -- giving the A's a full set of outfielders and opening left field for Alex Gordon on a permanent basis in KC. Yes, I could care less about these 2 teams. However, this is a big deal due to Zack Greinke most likely moving on. He has said that he has had enough of the Royals trading good players for prospects. With all due respect to Vin Maz, he's not nearly going to make the impact David DeJesus will in Oakland. I think Grienke will probably be shipped off to Texas after they lose out to the Red Sox in the Lee sweepstakes.
