NFL Power Rankings

1. New England Patriots (3) - Breezed through what was thought to be the tough part of their schedule, and are 6-1.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (1) - Tough loss to the Saints, but it is tough to win there and the Saints were due.
3. Indianapolis Colts (5) - Once again proving all they need is Peyton Manning.
4. Baltimore Ravens (7) - 5-2 and their schedule isn't too bad.
5. New York Jets (2) - Offense was terrible against the Packers, but that defense will get them to where they want to go.
6. New York Giants (6) - Coming off a bye week and have won 4 in a row.
7. Atlanta Falcons (8) - Big game against the Bucs this week, who would've thought that would be a big game?
8. New Orleans Saints (15) - It was a tough start to the year, but I think they've turned it around.
9. Green Bay Packers (10) - Won another close game, but it wasn't pretty.
10. Kansas City Chiefs (9) - Took till the last second in OT to beat the Bills, but a win is a win.
11. Tennessee Titans (4) - This team needs to decide if they are for real or not.
12. Philadelphia Eagles (11) - Vick is back just in time to face the Colts.
13. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (22) - Maybe Freeman is for real. We will know for sure when he faces the Falcons this week.
14. Houston Texans (12) - They just aren't consistent enough to be a playoff team.
15. San Diego Chargers (17) - Here comes that token San Diego run.
16. Oakland Raiders (23) - Once again blew the doors off a team, but can they do it against Kansas City?
17. Miami Dolphins (16) - Beat the Bengals, but so what?
18. Seattle Seahwaks (14) - Got crushed by Oakland, and now have to face the Giants. At least they are at home.
19. Chicago Bears (19) - They have a winning record, but does anyone else want to bet it doesn't last?
20. Washington Redskins (13) - Mike Shanahan needs to stop huffing paint thinner.
21. St. Louis Rams (24) - Imagine what Bradford could do if he had someone to throw to.
22. Jacksonville Jaguars (26) - Who would've thought this team would be .500 after 8 weeks?
23. Minnesota Vikings (18) - Want to make a real statement to your team? Cut Favre, and then fire yourself.
24. Detroit Lions (21) - Not a team you want to face.
25. San Francisco 49ers (30) - They have an easy schedule down the stretch.
26. Arizona Cardinals (27) - They won't win more then 2 games the rest of the year.
27. Cincinnati Bengals (25) - Man they have lost a lot of close games, but it won't get any better with Pitt and Indy coming up.
28. Denver Broncos - Too bad McDaniels won't last long enough to even see Tebow start.
29. Cleveland Browns (20) - Hope they have a good game plan for the Patriots this week.
30. Dallas Cowboys (28) - I guess 8-8 was way to generous.
31. Carolina Panthers (31) - This team doesn't do anything well.
32. Buffalo Bills (32) - Hey, at least they're trying.
